Top Five Wednesday: Fictional Date Spots

TV show pop-up shops have become more and more of a thing– some of my favorites have been inspired by Friends, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Gilmore Girls. I think it’s about time this becomes a bookish trends.

For today’s Valentine’s-inspired Top Five Wednesday, I’ll be discussing the five top fictional places I’d go on a date.

The bookstore from The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord – It’s hurting my reader soul that I can’t remember the name of the bookstore/coffee shop from Emery Lord’s The Start of Me and You and I don’t have access to a copy right now. I’d gladly go for a coffee date at this bookstore, especially if Max will be there. And yes, the hype for The Map From Here to There is very much ALIVE AND WELL for this fangirl.

Gelato in Italy inspired by Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch- I think general fictional date places is the name of the game today, gelato in Tuscany sounds like a dream.

Harpy’s from Dumplin’ by Julie Murphy- I totally wouldn’t pick this spot just to catch Bo behind the counter… But seriously, who wouldn’t want to create Willowdean and Bo’s nights in the parking lot?

Meade Creamery from Stay Sweet by Siobhan Vivian- I’d rather be working behind the counter at the ice cream place from one of my all-time favorite books, but going there for a date would be just as fun.

Levi’s Starbucks from Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell- Let it be known that if I were to go to Starbucks for a date, it would have to be the one Levi works at. And not just so he could make me a pumpkin mocha breve
