It’s time to share my most anticipated releases for September, October, & November. As always, new books not mentioned on this list will of course end up in my to-be-read pile, but here’s the list of upcoming books currently on my TBR.

Killers of a Certain Age by Deanna Raybourn – Killers of a Certain Age, following four recently retired hired assassins who start to figure out that someone is after them on their retirement cruise, has gotten so much early praise. I’ve heard this is one is also a comedy, similar to the style of Finlay Donovan is Killing It. Release Date: September 6
Drunk on Love by Jasmine Guillory – I was fortunate enough to join a blog tour (my review will be coming soon) for Jasmine Guillory’s upcoming, Drunk on Love, a standalone romance set a Napa Valley winery. If you’re a fan of Jasmine Guillory’s previous work, then this is a must-read for sure. RD: September 20
Endless Summer: Stories by Elin Hilderbrand – I’m not the biggest short story fan…but I am a HUGE Elin Hilderbrand fan! If her name is on a book, I’m already there. This collection contains short stories connected to some of her books and I’m just so looking forward to getting more from her this fall, instead of having to wait until summer. RD: October 4
Bad Girl Reputation by Elle Kennedy – Bad Girl Reputationis the second book in Elle Kennedy’s Avalon Bay series, following the love interest’s brother from Good Girl Complex and his ex in their small beach town. I’m fortunate enough that I have an e-ARC, so excited to read this one when I’m craving a good romance. RD: October 4

Just Like Magic by Sarah Hogle – I love Sarah Hogle’s You Deserve Each Other, so I’m looking forward to checking out her holiday inspired read. RD: October 4
Our Missing Hearts by Celeste Ng – I actually don’t know much going into Celeste Ng’s upcoming Our Missing Hearts…but isn’t it enough knowing that Celeste Ng has a new book coming out. RD: October 4
If You Could See the Sun by Ann Liang – I’ve heard that If You Could See The Sun is elite/rich kid boarding school contemporary meets fantasy. The book is set at a Beijing prep school and the main protagonist has the ability to turn invisible and uses her power to spy on her classmates & help them uncover scandals. RD: October 11
Built to Last by Erin Hahn – I’ve loved Erin Hahn’s YA contemporaries, so I’m looking forward to checking out her contemporary romance debut. RD: October 18

A Very Merry Bromance (Bromance Book Club #5) by Lyssa Kay Adams – I love a good holiday book and I obviously love the Bromance Book Club series, so I already know that this fifth installment is going to be sooooo good! This book follows country music star, Colton. RD: November 1
Scattered Showers by Rainbow Rowell – I guess this season is all about the short story collection, as Rainbow Rowell will be releasing a collection of some of her already published and new short stories. The finished edition is also going to be BEAUTIFUL, with sprayed edges, a paper-over-board cover, illustrations, and a bookmark. RD: November 8
Anon Pls. by DeuxMoi – I’ve been seeing Anon Pls. on Instagram so much – Hannah Orenstein raved about it, especially because it’s written by YA author, Jessica Goodman! The book follows an assistant to a celebrity stylist who creates a celebrity gossip account that completely blows up. RD: November 8
The Do-Over by Lynn Painter – Lynn Painter’s YA novel, Better Than the Movies, is such a gem, so I’m looking forward to The Do-Over, following a teen who is stuck in a time loop on Valentine’s Day (sidenote that I think this is also the year of time loop/time travel books??). RD: November 15

What books are you anticipating this fall? Any of the books that I mentioned? Share in the comments!
The Do-Over is on our list too!
