Am I the only one who feels like October absolutely flew by? I read 8 books in October. It was such a solid reading month yet again not so much for the quantity (even though I am quite happy with the quantity between work and hanging with friends), but because of the quality. Since I’ve reviewed all of the books here, I won’t be sharing my thoughts on them in this post – but just know that Ali Hazlewood’s The Love Hypothesis is my absolute FAVORITE (definitely a contender for favorite book of 2021), and I really enjoyed Jennifer Lynn Barnes’ The Inheritance Games and the first book in Elin Hilderbrand’s Paradise trilogy!

The Legacy (Off-Campus #4.5) by Elle Kennedy | 4/5 Stars
A Lot Like Adiòs by Alexis Daris | 4/5
The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood | 5/5
Any Way the Wind Blows (Simon Snow #3) by Rainbow Rowell | 4/5
The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes | 5/5
The Magic of Found Objects by Maddie Dawson | 4/5
Winter in Paradise by Elin Hilderbrand | 5/5
The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling | 4.5/5

Ted Lasso S2 (Apple TV+) – I talked about Ted Lasso in my September Wrap-Up, but wow this second season was so, so good (and yes, I have all the LOVE for Roy Kent/Brett Goldstein). Like I’ve said before, it’s worth the Apple TV subscription just for this show alone.
The Babysitters Club S2 (Netflix) – The Babysitters Club seems intended for a pre-teen/early teen audience, but I absolutely LOVE this show based on one of my favorite childhood series. Maybe its the nostalgia, but I absolutely blew through this second season & I loved seeing all the (updated) nods to the original books.
Currently Watching:
The Morning Show S2 (Apple TV+)– I wouldn’t say The Morning Show is my all-time favorite show, but something makes me want to watch the new weekly episode each weekend.
You S3 (Netflix) – I’m only three or four episodes into season three, but enjoying so far!
Pretty Smart (Netflix) – If you’ve enjoyed shows like Baby Daddy and Young & Hungry, you’ll likely enjoy this sitcom starring Emily Osment about a recent Ph.D. grad who moves to California and moves in with her sister & friends.

Alexis Daria has definitely become a huge fave this year. Have watched Pretty Smart and liked it alot even though it was predictable. I just love Emily Osment and will watch anything she does 😛
