September 2021 Wrap Up

A quick wrap-up to celebrate this Friday & the start of October! I read 11 books in the month of September – about 9-10 books less than my summer reading average, but I’m still really happy with this amount, & I liked everything I read this month.

The Rehearsals by Annette Christie | 4/5 Stars

Beautiful Day by Elin Hilderbrand | 4/5

The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman | 5/5

Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall | 4.5/5

The Love Season by Elin Hilderbrand | 4/5

Rock the Boat by Beck Dorey Stein | 4.5/5

The Charm Offensive by Alison Cochrun | 4.5/5

Nantucket Nights by Elin Hilderbrand | 3/5

If The Shoe Fits by Julie Murphy | 4.5

We Are the Brennans by Tracey Lange | 4/5

Everyone Dies Famous in a Small Town by Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock | 4/5

Sex Education S3 (Netflix) – Not a huge TV month for me other than my weekly Below Deck Mediterranean and of course, the return of one of my favorite Netflix shows, Sex Education. I genuinely laughed out loud at some point in each episode and so, SO happy it’s already been renewed for a fourth season.

Cruella (Disney+) – My sisters both saw Cruella in theaters this summer & have been raving about it ever since, so I took the time to finally watch it last weekend. I’m not the biggest movie person, but this was the best movie I’ve seen in a while. Emma Stone was the perfect Cruella and I just loved the story overall.

  1. I’m still enthralled with all these beautiful illustrated covers. I know people are tired of them but I think they’re just so cute! I’ve actually heard pretty good things about Cruella although I haven’t seen it yet!
