It’s safe to say that we could all use a little cheer and comfort right now, and what better way to do so than through fangirling over all the bookish news?! While I admit that I’ve been spending a bit too much time on my phone and social media lately, one perk has been staying up to date on so many cover reveals and upcoming releases. I’ve dedicated a bookmark collection on Instagram for new books and covers. Today I’ll be sharing my favorite cover reveals and new book announcements from the past few weeks.
Cover Reveals
Snapped (Playbook #4) by Alexa Martin – Because of my love for the Playbook series, I get excited for any sort of Alexa Martin book news. This cover really compliments the others, and I love the gold football barrette.
The Secret Life of Addie La Rue by V.E. Schwab – I really like the cover for V.E. Schwab’s October 2020 adult release, but I think I was expecting more? I had hoped for some sort of illustration with a woman on the cover in the style of the new Vicious and Vengeful covers. I’m interested to see if the U.K. edition will have a different cover.
Book Announcements & Deals
The Roughest Draft by Emily Wibberely and Austin Siegemund-Broka – I’m loving this trend of YA authors writing adult contemporary romances- Sandhya Menon’s Make Up Break Up and Rachel Lynn Solomon’s The Ex Talk are also on this list- and I think this author duo will absolutely slay the game. I also love how it follows a co-author duo!
THE NEWS IS OUT!!! Austin and I are so excited to share that we’re writing an adult romance for @KristineESwartz at @BerkleyRomance. Co-writing is the heart of our career, and now, it’s the heart of THE ROUGHEST DRAFT: pic.twitter.com/nv4etIaeOO

Once More with Chutzpah by Haley Neil – This YA debut is slated for Fall 2021 and will follow twins who travel through Israel during their senior year of high school.
It feels wild to have good news right now but I am unbelievably excited to announce that my debut, a Birthright YA, is coming your way Fall 2021!

What’s Not to Love by Emily Wibberely and Austin Siegemund-Broka – This roundup would not be complete without a second update from Wibbroka! This 2021 YA release is an enemies-to-lovers romance following Alison and Ethan’s rivalry, as both have their hearts set on Harvard and destroying each other… until they’re forced to work together and things get very complicated. I’m hoping that the cover reveal will come soon.
IT’S HAPPENING AND WE’RE EXCITED

A Sky Beyond the Storm by Sabaa Tahir – I’m sure everyone and their mother knows and is excited about this one, but it was announced that the fourth & final book in the Ember in the Ashes series, A Sky Beyond the Storm, will be released on December 4th, 2020. I’m putting this one on here in extra motivation for be to finally pick up An Ember in the Ashes this year.
I’m hoping to make this post a regular feature on the blog!
