My Disney+ Watchlist

When Disney+ was first announced, I wasn’t that excited.

The day before Disney+ came out I wasn’t that excited.

I am a Disney fan, and an even bigger Pixar fan, but I didn’t really want to subscribe to another streaming service. My family subscribes to Amazon Prime and Netflix. I’m either going to have to subscribe to Hulu or borrow my friend’s account info. when Little Fires Everywhere comes out and I finally check out Looking for Alaska. On Disney+’s launch day, my best friend and I scrolled through her account and I realized how much I really wanted Disney+.

Disney+ basically has EVERYTHING that is even the slightest bit related to Disney– and yes, that includes nearly, if not every, Disney Channel Original Movie. Fortunately, Santa decided to come early for my family this year and I am officially a Disney+ subscriber. I’m really looking forward to some of their original content, as well as ALL the Disney Channel Original Movies and TV show rewatching.

Originals & New To Me Movies

Noelle Before I had Disney+, Noelle was the one movie I knew I’d watch with my Disney+ subscribing friends. Everyone knows that I need to watch Christmas movie ever, especially this one starring Anna Kendrick, Bill Hader and Billy Eichner. Anna Kendrick and Billy Hader play Santa’s daughter and son, Noelle and Nick, as they prepare for their father’s retirement.

Encore! I didn’t watch Kristen Bell’s Encore! when it was on ABC in 2017, but I’m so excited to follow this weekly docuseries. The show reunites high school alumni to recreate the musicals they performed while in school.

10 Things I Hate About You– I am the worst ’90s movies fan because I still have not seen 10 Things I Hate About You. I’ve definitely had opportunities to watch this movie because it always seems to be on Freeform, but I’ll finally have no excuse to sit down and watch it.

I’ll Be Home for Christmas Not only give me ALL the 90s movies, but give me ALL the 90s Christmas movies.

Big Hero Six- This is where I deserve all the fangirl screams thrown at me because I still haven’t seen Big Hero Six.

Rewatches

Lizzie McGuire  As a late ‘90s child, I had the best of both Disney Channel worlds, in that I had both the early 2000s and later 2000s shows. My favorite from the early 2000s was hands-down Lizzie McGuire! I had so many of the show’s computer games, and I constantly rewatched The Lizzie McGuire Movie, so I’m really looking forward to re-entering that childhood nostalgia.

Suite Life on Deck – I might be one of the few, and while I loved both of them, I loved The Suite Life on Deck even more than The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. I see myself either rewatching every single episode or skipping through some of my favorites.

Kim Possible (The Animated Series) – Kim Possible was another early childhood favorite of mine, so I’ll be definitely checking out a few episodes and some of the hour-long episodes/movie specials. I have no interest what so ever to watch the live action remake.

Cheetah Girls Confession time that one of my first concerts was the Cheetah Girls with Everlife. I saw a few Cheetah Girls Halloween costumes this year, which made me want to rewatch the Cheetah Girls even more.

More 2000s DCOM Rewatches: Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Cadet Kelly, Ice Princess, Herbie Fully LoadedCadet Kelly was another favorite of mine growing up, and I always watched Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen with my cousins. I’m really excited to watch some of these movies with my younger sisters who didn’t grow up with the amazing DCOMs.
