The “Friends” Character Book Tag (Original Tag)

friendscbt.jpg

Besides reading this summer, I’ve been constantly rewatching one of my all-time favorite TV shows, Friends. Today, I am presenting the Friends Character Book Tag! The only rules of the tag are to answer the following questions, tag your fellow bloggers and vloggers, and mention the original post in your tag. Happy reading & Friends reminiscing!

The Questions:

Rachel: A character whose wardrobe you want to steal– Lara Jean from the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy by Jenny Han- Lara Jean has such an adorable wardrobe, and I feel like she would consider Rachel Green as one of her fashion icons. Lara Jean goes on a vintage dress hunt in the last book in the series, Always and Forever, Lara Jean, that I would have loved to join her on.

Joey: A book that left you mind-blownThe One Memory of Flora Banks by Emily Barr- I didn’t know what to expect in Emily Barr’s The One Memory of Flora Banks, just knowing that our main protagonist, Flora, suffers from short-term memory loss. This book is all about Flora trying to have some sort of control on her own life, and I would have never predicted the ending of this book. I have a full review here.

Chandler: A book that made you laugh out loud– Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella- One of my favorite parts of reading Finding Audrey was Audrey and her family’s humor. Here’s one of my favorite quotes from the book:

“Bloody is not swearing,” he says, breathing hard, though to rein in his impatience.
“It is!”
“It’s in the Harry Potter films, OK? Harry Potter. How can it be swearing?”
“What?” Mum sounds wrong footed.
“Harry Potter. I rest my case.” ” (21)

Monica: A book that made you hungry Heartless by Marissa Meyer. Monica Geller would be the first to appreciate Cath’s love for baking in Marissa Meyer’s Queen of Hearts origin story, Heartless. I still need to try to replicate Cath’s lemon tarts! I have a full review of Heartless here.

Ross: A book that gave you all the feels I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson- When I think about books that have beautiful writing, I automatically think of Jandy Nelson’s I’ll Give You the Sun. In my Goodreads “review” of the move from 2015, I wrote, “If you want a book that gives you the feels, read this one!”.

Phoebe: A quirky & enjoyable readMade You Up by Francesca Zappia- Francesca Zappia’s Made You Up is a quirky read that sheds light on mental illness. High school senior Alex often has trouble distinguishing reality from delusion, relying on her Magic 8- ball and the mysterious Miles for guidance.

I tag:

  1. Oh wow! Thanks for tagging me!! I’ve been wanting a new tag ❤️😁🌈

And I LOVED your answers… I’ve read the first 2 Lara Jean books and agree her clothes were the best! And The One Memory of Flora Banks sounds like just my sort of book! I’m TBR that one 🌟

That quote from Finding Audrey does make me want to learn more! Such a great tag! I can’t wait to do this one! (Hopefully fairly soon!)
